Get Quant Whales
GET/v1/cryptodata/quant/whales
Hyperliquid whale activity — the ≥$100k account universe (Pro). Rolls every large Hyperliquid account (the same universe behind `/quant/positioning` and `/quant/gex`; active accounts re-polled every liq-map cycle — 15 min on the public path) up into a single read: * `summary` — accounts tracked, the behavioral-class split (`market_maker` / `whale` / `other`), aggregate long vs short notional, the long/short ratio and the whole-book `net_bias` (risk-on/risk-off). * `top_coins` — the 100 cryptos whales hold the most, by total notional (60 before 2026-10-14): per coin the long/short/net/gross USD, distinct account counts, the dominant side and `directional_net_usd` (net excluding market-maker liquidity = the conviction read). Scope: Hyperliquid **perpetuals** (the whale margin book). `meta.segment` is `perp` and `meta.spot_status` flags that spot-wallet balances are not yet collected. The view is crypto-only (no tokenized equities). Full-universe (all coins) on Pro and Pro Plus. Historical whale positioning is on Pro Plus via `/quant/whales/history`. Cadence: served by the HL collector (5-min batch liqmap cycle) since 2026-09-09; `positions_as_of` (unix ms) is the poll cycle the positions come from, so the refresh cadence is self-evident from the payload. `summary.by_tag_usd` (`smart_money`, `high_leverage`) are orthogonal overlays; `top_coins[].long_pct_pctile_30d` ranks the live long share vs the coin's own trailing 30 days (null until 2 days of samples).
